REQUIREMENTS: Helmets are required. All riders must sign a waiver. Riders under 18 years must have parent co-sign waiver at registration desk on day of ride, and must be accompanied on same route by parent or guardian. All riders must ensure their bike is in good mechanical condition. Riders should carry water, tube and tools to repair a flat. All riders must obey the rules of the road and CFC.

PARKING: Parking is available in the big grass field and behind the gymnasium at Burgaw Middle School. Overflow parking is available at Cape Fear Community College with walk-through access between the campuses.
 
When you arrive, parking assistants will be directing traffic. Please park within the marked spaces in the grass. Parking is not allowed on the black-top.
 
SIGN-IN & REGISTRATION is located under the event tent. If you are pre-registered, please check in with the registration desk. If you registered by June 5, you will receive a tee shirt. All online pre-registrations will receive a meal ticket and cue sheet.
 
WALK-UP REGISTRATION is available! Cash & Check only are accepted. You will be asked to sign an event waiver. You will receive a meal ticket and cue sheets for your ride.
 
SOCK PRE-ORDERS If you pre-ordered socks, you may pick them up at the merchandise table.
 
MERCHANDISE TABLE Tee Shirts & Socks are available for $10 each while supplies last.
 
BIKE RAFFLE Two Wheeler Dealer has donated an Electra 1 Bike Cruiser! Raffle tickets are $10 each and all proceeds go to the Terry Benjey Foundation. You may purchase tickets before or after the ride. Winner will be drawn during the Blueberry Festival. You do not have to be present to win.
 
BIKE SUPPORT: Pre-ride bike tech support is provided by Switchin' Gears and will be set up near the event tent on ride day. Switchin' Gears is a non-profit organization that promotes bicycling in Wilmington as a feasible means of transportation, and a means that addresses wealth and health disparities that inevitably exist in our community. Stop by and check them out!

RIDE REGULATIONS:

  • Helmets are required and must be worn for all courses. 
  • Riders under 18 must be accompanied on ride by parent. 
  • All riders must ensure their bike is in good mechanical condition.
  • Riders should carry water, tube and tools to repair a flat. 
  •  All riders must obey the rules of the road and CFC.
  • Riders of the metric century must be out on the second loop by 11:30AM.

COURSE INFO: Cue sheets are available below for each course, plus, all routes are marked with road-side signs. There are designated ride leaders and sweeps for each route and SAG vehicles available between rest stops. If you have any questions or need assistance, please seek out these volunteers. If you see a SAG vehicle, you may indicate thumbs-up if you are safe and thumbs-down if you need assistance.
 
Remember: it is ultimately your responsibility to know the course. Roads will be open to vehicular traffic. Be careful and alert at all times.
 
AID STATIONS: There are four aid stations on the course. The stations in Watha and on Whitestocking will have minimal nutrition, water, Gatorade and ice.
 
The rest areas at Shiloh/Penderlea and at Dabby’s Grill will be stocked with ice, water, cola and all sorts of nutritional goodies—including homemade peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. These aid stations also include Rent-a-John portalets.

PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that all riders carry at least one water bottle to refill at these stations.
 
Participants in the metric century are encouraged to stop at Burgaw Middle School after the first loop and refill your nutrition and hydration. Metric Century riders must be out on the second loop by 11:30AM.

BIKES, BURGERS, BBQ & BLUEBERRIES! Finishers are encouraged to use your meal ticket at the PORT CITY QUE & PT'S MOBILE GRILLE. Plus, don't forget to head downtown for all the festivities on the square at the NC Blueberry Festival.
