COURSE INFO: Cue sheets are available below for each course, plus, all routes are marked with road-side signs. There are designated ride leaders and sweeps for each route and SAG vehicles available between rest stops. If you have any questions or need assistance, please seek out these volunteers. If you see a SAG vehicle, you may indicate thumbs-up if you are safe and thumbs-down if you need assistance.
Remember: it is ultimately your responsibility to know the course. Roads will be open to vehicular traffic. Be careful and alert at all times.
AID STATIONS: There are four aid stations on the course. The stations in Watha and on Whitestocking will have minimal nutrition, water, Gatorade and ice.
The rest areas at Shiloh/Penderlea and at Dabby’s Grill will be stocked with ice, water, cola and all sorts of nutritional goodies—including homemade peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. These aid stations also include Rent-a-John portalets.
PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that all riders carry at least one water bottle to refill at these stations.
Participants in the metric century are encouraged to stop at Burgaw Middle School after the first loop and refill your nutrition and hydration. Metric Century riders must be out on the second loop by 11:30AM.
BIKES, BURGERS, BBQ & BLUEBERRIES! Finishers are encouraged to use your meal ticket at the PORT CITY QUE & PT'S MOBILE GRILLE. Plus, don't forget to head downtown for all the festivities on the square at the NC Blueberry Festival.
