30th Annual TarWheel Cycling Event

📍 Elizabeth City, NC – Mariners' Wharf Park

Join us for the 30th Annual TarWheel Cycling Event, a scenic ride through the picturesque countryside of Pasquotank & Perquimans Counties in northeastern North Carolina. Enjoy smooth, flat roads with stunning waterfront views, historic homes, open farmlands, and plenty of local wildlife.

Route Options:
🚴 33 miles | 🚴‍♂️ 64 miles | 🚴‍♀️ 100 miles
Routes start and finish at Mariners' Wharf Park (106 S. Water St., Elizabeth City, NC 27909).

What to Expect:

✅ Rolling countryside & waterfront views
✅ Famous SAG stops featuring deviled eggs, banana bread, smoothies, PB&Js, sweet potato biscuits, and more!
✅ Pre-ride coffee, juice, and snacks (including our beloved Balls, Bacon, Bananas & Brews—☕ coffee, not beer!)
✅ Post-ride Hot Dog Bar with plenty of toppings (yes, bacon included!)

Packet Pickup:

📍 Friday, April 11 (4:00-7:00 PM) @ Mariners' Wharf Park – Includes a FREE craft beer or wine voucher 🍷🍺
📍 Saturday, April 12 (7:00-9:00 AM) @ Mariners' Wharf Park

Schedule:

🕖 7:00 AM – Registration & Check-in Opens
🕖 7:45 AM – Riders' Meeting
🚴 8:00 AM – All Riders Start (flexible start, non-timed)
🕔 5:00 PM – Ride Support Closes

Registration Fees:

🔹 Early Bird (through 2/28): $45
🔹 3/1 - 4/4: $50
🔹 4/5 - 4/11: $55
🔹 Day of (4/12): $60
