Topsail 2 x 4

Ride Description: The Topsail 2 x 4 ride is a beautiful ride through Pender County countryside and through Topsail Island. In addition to typical coastal flat terrain, the ride offers a little climbing as the ride passes over both high rise bridges – twice. The ride offers distances of 29, 41, and 52 miles.

Ride Instructions & Rules:
- Please sign the new CFC liability waiver when you arrive at the ride.
- If you need a ride map, please print out the ride map and bring it to the ride.
- Please arrive to the ride start location at least 15 minutes prior to the ride start time.
- Please visit www.capefearcyclists.org and review CFC ride policies.
- If the forecast includes temperatures below 38 F, wind chill down to 32 F, or rain/wet roads the ride will be cancelled.

Ride Parking:
Parking is available behind the McDonalds located at the intersection of Route 50 and 210 in Surf City.

Ride Pace: Historically, this ride is a “B” paced ride with average speeds of 16 to 20 MPH. The ride leader will regroup riders at various locations along the route. No one will be left behind.

General Information:
First time riders are welcome. If you enjoy the experience, pick up a membership from at your local bike shop or visit www.capefearcyclists.org for instructions on joining the club. Membership not only supports the club and cycling advocacy, it extends insurance coverage to you on club rides.
